Hedy Fischer considers herself a cultural pollinator, connecting communities, empowering others and advancing thoughtful dialogue through the arts.
Hedy co-founded Pink Dog Creative, a former textile warehouse, now a vibrant arts and retail complex in Asheville’s River Arts District housing studios for 27 working artists, two restaurants, an art gallery and retail shops. Pink Dog Creative has become a locus for community interaction through art events, art exhibitions and special events and performances. Hedy provides an opportunity for local and regional artists to exhibit their work in a professional environment, at Pink Dog Gallery as well as other venues.
In addition to Pink Dog Creative, Hedy partners with Randy Shull at 22 London on museum quality exhibitions from their personal art collection.
Hedy serves on the Art 21 and and Black Mountain College Museum Board of Trustees. She holds a masters degree from the University of Hawaii.
